Slow stitching brings a meaningful, thoughtful, and sustainable approach to stitchery. See how to slow down and experience more joy in your craft by trying simple techniques based on traditional practice, reusing and reinventing materials, and limiting equipment. This retreat is for everyone, non-members and members.
Day 1: you will be shown several varieties of slow stitching and complete a series of small samplers.
Day 2: you choose your project and create your own unique piece of creativity. Projects are many and varied, some examples being journal cover, table runner, clutch purse, small knee rug, cushion cover etc.
You will take home with you: a unique piece of slow stitching.
