It’s easy to lose our creativity in the hustle and bustle of everyday life but by being in the present with stitching, we can learn how to relax and calm the mind.
Hand stitching helps to untangle your thoughts and has a way of slowing us down and grounding us in the moment.
Magic Mending embraces the calming effect Sashiko stitching has while learning to creatively patch your worn out and frayed denims. This class emphasises the reuse of textiles, giving them a new lease of life.
Come and enjoy a relaxing day with well known C W A tutor Mary as she guides you through the art of Sashiko.
Includes: Tuition, a kit providing you with Sashiko requirements , Morning/ Afternoon Tea and Lunch, catered for by renowned CWA cooks. Please advise if you have any food allergies.
However, please bring sharp scissors and old denim Jeans to work on.
