Situated on the main street of Halls Gap the CWA cottage is close to the centre of the township.

The cottage was originally purchased by members of the Central Wimmera Mallee group in 1948 as a retreat for members of the northwest to get away. 

 

Boasting 4 bedrooms and room for 8 people the cottage has one double room with a queen bed, one room with a double bed and bunk, a twin room and a single. Overnight stays are limited to 8 people. 

 

Please BYO Bed linen, sheets, doonas or blanket, pillows, towels, tea towels and bathmats. Some beds have electric blankets, and all are fitted with mattress protectors and a coverlet.

 

There is a wood fire in the kitchen and split system in the lounge, to keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. BYO Wood or it can be purchased at the service station. The property has a family of kangaroos that live in the backyard that also enjoy the serenity that the cottage offers.

The CWA Central Wimmera Mallee Cottage backs onto Stony creek and is a short walk from the town centre which has a supermarket, ice cream shop, cafes, swimming pool, service station, restaurants and brewery and a short drive to the Halls Gap Zoo.
