New CWA of Victoria Strategic Plan Released

Our new five-year Strategic Plan has now been released and is available on the CWA of Victoria website.

The Strategic Plan is the result of extensive consultation with our members and key external stakeholders. Inputs informing the Plan were captured through:

  • 2,000 comments received from more than 450 delegates attending the 2023 State Conference
  • Five face-to-face workshops involving 164 members representing 95 Branches
  • An Online consultation session with 824 responses to our survey, and
  • Ongoing consultation with the CWA of Victoria State Council.

State President Jennifer Nola said adoption of the Strategic Plan would support the CWA of Victoria’s vision for communities where all women, children and families are safe, supported and can realise their potential.

“Our purpose is to provide assistance and support to women, children and families who are facing disadvantage or vulnerability throughout Victoria including metropolitan, regional, rural and remote areas. We do this by being inclusive, optimistic, collaborative, transparent and committed. The goals and actions outlined in the Strategic Plan have been determined through extensive consultation and will help focus our efforts where they are most needed. What we are committing to is significant – and we are purposeful, tenacious and courageous in everything we do.”
